I look forward to the “Fall Back” part of Daylight Savings Time.
This “Spring Forward” thing is for the birds though.
As soon as I saw the first reminder show up in my email and newsfeed – plus the reminder from my parents by phone this afternoon – I groaned.
Sure, I will be more than happy to leave school when there is still daylight left, but if truth be told, I kind of like my sleep more.
I kind of wish I had noticed that this short night would be happening the night before our scheduled “creative non-drowning kayaking class” taking place tomorrow. (We’ll be practicing rolling kayaks.)
(I’m already jazzed up about the short night so don’t get me started about my worry that my bathing suit won’t fit tomorrow…if it makes you feel better, this might be the motivation I need to get my butt to the gym on Monday morning…)
So, I guess it is time to quit whining and just figure that we’ll all be in bed earlier than normal tonight to make up for that time vacuum that will happen around 2 AM thanks to Daylight Savings Time.
